About
Welcome
Yehudis founded Migdal Emunah in 2012, a specialist organisation providing support and education of sexual abuse and violence to the UK Jewish community. She developed it in response to an influx of inquiries from victims and survivors following her own disclosure and reporting her own experiences of child sexual abuse to the police. She was CEO at Migdal Emunah for ten years and stepped down from that role in April 2022 to focus on other projects.
Yehudis spent her childhood in Stamford Hill, Hackney as part of a large Charedi community within the Chabad Lubavitch sect.
Yehudis founded the UK’s Sexual Abuse & Sexual Violence Awareness Week, a week in February to promote awareness and encourage the UK to join the conversation and say together #itsnotok.
Yehudis is Chair of the Met Police Independent Advisory Group for Rape & Serious Sexual Offences.
Yehudis is studying at Goldsmiths University for a Master’s degree in Understanding Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse and holds a BSc Hons in Psychology & Counselling Skills from Middlesex University. She is a trained Independent Sexual Violence Advisor and was awarded the Lime Light award for ISVA supporting adults in 2016.
